Vintage Italian American Photos 2

At the end of 2021 I posted vintage photos of my two Italian-American families. To which, I received an overwhelmingly great response.

Since then, I have connected with my dad’s first cousin Nicola in Italy who has sent me photos of my paternal grandmother’s brother’s. By shear chance Nicola contacted me just a few months before our scheduled trip to Naples and other parts of Italy. Nicola is the son of my grandmother’s half sister Anna, who’s weeding photo you see above.

What really blew me away was that Nicola and his daughter took us to Torre Del Greco, where my grandmother’s youngest brother settled to meet two of my dad’s first cousins both in their 90’s.

If this wasn’t shocking enough they had photos of my family in the USA from over 80 years ago!

Since then, Nicola has sent me photos of not only my grandmother’s brothers but photos that my grandmother send from Italy to her father with her handwritten notes.

I hope that you enjoy, and if you are researching… never give up.
