    I would love to read this article but so many ads and pop ups. I understand we all need to make some money but I wish bloggers would find some other non-distracting way. I have been trying to read several genealogy blogs and you are not the only one, so I am not picking on you.

      I appreciate the comments. I try to avoid popups, as for ads, some of my posts have more than others. Without getting into the details, unless you have hundreds of thousands of viewers, we make very little on ads, in my case I recoup about enough to cover my website cost, after devoting 5 hours a day on research and posting. I am looking into a subscription process for certain content. In the meantime, you can certainly support by using the donate link in the upper right hand corner.
