Welcome to Italian Genealogy Research. As many more people are exploring their family history it is time to have a site and blog dedicated to guiding and assisting people to find their Italian Heritage. I will be posting a daily blog with insight tips and encouragement.
In addition, I will be sharing my research on the family tab. Photos, documents, stories and crests of my direct ancestors. Little did I think that I find so many distinguished ancestors from a card my paternal grandmother brought from Italy. My father’s family is from Naples and my mother’s is from Bari. They come from two very distinct classes in Italy, Dad’s mother has very noble roots, while mom’s family from Bari were seamstresses and farmers.
